Dr. Ardie (“Ja-Ja”) Salem is a life-long professional artist, musician, ever faithful friend, and founding member of the Gypsy Tribe family from inception. His performance, enthusiasm, and positive energy are undeniable, both on and off stage. Ardie's passion for music and his mastery of rhythm spans multiple instruments and myriad musical genres. Always in the pocket, always in the moment, disciplined yet free, and knowing exactly the right spices to add to the mix. He is “el cocinero”, the cook behind the scenes. His incredible showmanship, camaraderie, and musical contributions elevates our music to an even higher plane. While also an exceptionally skilled painter, he is equally humble and forever a student of music, art, and life.
